Practicum Placement Scheme (PPS)

The Practicum Placement Scheme (PPS) covers the wages for eligible Working Towards Early Childhood Teachers. They must be enrolled in an approved Early Childhood Bachelor qualification, slated for completion in 2024 or 2025. The scheme supports their attendance at practicum placements, mandated by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority.

The amount payable to eligible applicants under the PPS is $35.41 per hour for a maximum of 38 hours, for a maximum of 4 weeks. Equating to a total of $5,382.32 as the capped funding amount.
