Early Childhood Educators Day
On the first Wednesday in September each year, ACA Qld celebrates Early Childhood Educators Day to recognise the valuable contributions of early childhood educators within the community. We actively encourage members to participate in this celebration to receive deserved appreciation from families and the broader community.
ACA Qld hosts an annual conference to support the professional development of Approved Providers and educators throughout the long day care sector. This is a valuable opportunity for approved providers, educators and industry experts to network and reflect on how to improve outcomes for children across Australia.
Throughout the year, we identify training and development needs as they emerge. We offer workshops that support Approved Providers to deal with and manage these issues in their service. ACA Qld currently offers Educator Mentoring Program which is an in-service program that provides tailored professional development to support the needs of your service.
We have established a partnership with an experienced online training provider, In Safe Hands and Dr Kaylene Henderson to provide access to quality training at exclusive member pricing. The courses include critical issues such as child protection, nutrition and behaviour guidance. Click here for more information.
