As the peak body for the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector in Queensland, Australian Childcare Alliance Queensland (ACA Qld) represents close to 900 early learning (childcare) services, with an estimated 16,500 early childhood educators, who educate and care for around 190,000 children of 250,000 parents in Queensland.

ACA represents members on key issues impacting the viability, quality and affordability of early learning services. We are actively involved in advocating for political reform to improve outcomes for children, families and services while reducing regulatory burden.

We are committed to ensuring every child has access to high quality, affordable and sustainable early learning services, and therefore the best start in life.

We believe that with the right policy and financial frameworks in place, Australia could be a world leader in the delivery of high quality ECEC within 10 years.
