QKFS Information and Factsheets

Australian Childcare Alliance Queensland (ACA Qld) is partnering with the Department of Education to support long day care services in preparing for the introduction of Kindy for All in 2023. This update to the QKFS, effective from 1 January 2023, is a new kindy funding system to make kindergarten more affordable and accessible to families.

Long day care services are required to roll-over their existing QKFS Service Agreement to the new QKFS before submitting their Quarter 1 2023 forecast. Information on how to do this is linked at the bottom of the page.
