What our members say

  • The ACA Qld resources and advocacy has been an enormous help. I think ACA Qld does a tremendous job representing early learning (childcare) services.

  • ACA has been extremely supportive of centres during the COVID-19 crisis. Without ACA advocating for ECEC more centres would have shut down. You could see how much they cared and fought for the industry and centres.

  • “I was honoured to have had the opportunity to participate in the ACA Qld National Conference. The experience was both inspiring and enriching, as I listened to a range of insightful guest and keynote speakers and engaged in hands on workshops that deepened my understanding and passion for early childhood education. It was equally rewarding to connect with fellow educators who share the same dedication and commitment to the profession. I also had the chance to learn more about our sister centres. A true highlight of the conference was meeting Majella Fitzsimmons, President of the Australian Childcare Alliance Qld, and Vice President Jae Fraser. I felt privileged to not only meet them but also to be part of an interview with Majella herself.”

  • Since only recently joining ACA Qld, I have learnt so much more and have ways to provide better for my service. Brent has been amazing with the webinars lately with all the changes with COVID-19.
    Sam Indelicato
  • ACA has worked hard during these tough times. They have considered the needs of the whole sector and tried to formulate solutions that work on a holistic basis. Thank you for all the work that you have done and continue to do.

  • Our centre changed to ACA Qld after the service we had employed diversified and became more generalised. I looked for a representative that was early years specific and found Australian Childcare Alliance Queensland. I thought ACA was for private centres only but I was very pleased to discover that ACA represented not for profit centres as well. The best move for our centre in a long time and at half the cost. Brent is a skilled communicator and his passion for the sector is very evident. He has supported us through some difficult decisions and his knowledge has proved invaluable.
    Aspen Community Early Learning Centre
  • A great organisation of which we are proud to belong. All you could ask for in being provided with information and support.
    Pomona Early Childhood Centre
  • As an independent service, we have been a member of ACA for over five years and during this time we have found ACA Qld to be a valuable support tool in navigating our way through the day to day challenges that we face within the ECEC sector. They have always been on hand to help and have pointed us in the right direction whatever we may have needed.
    Lisa Taskov
    Petrie Kids Korner
  • As a stand-alone service, the professionalism and knowledge of ACA Qld have been invaluable in the day to day operation of my service.
    Tracy Bailey

  • A big thank you to ACA Qld and workers. At the onset of the Coronavirus, I found ACA Qld my go-to, a huge comfort and felt reassured you were working constantly to support all members of the industry. You have and continue to keep us informed and advised through challenging times. I am so glad to be a member.

  • No childcare service should be without a full membership to ACA. Not only are they there to support you with resources/training but you are dealing directly with people who have childcare knowledge and have managed their own services. This gives you confidence in the advice and information you receive.
    Bronwyn Taylor
    NCC Early Learners
  • Thank you, ACA for standing in the gap between our sector and government policy. You have provided a voice for the industry which has helped shape government policy.

  • I love the industry updates. The updates keep me informed and makes it much easier so I don't have to google / search for it all. I like the opportunities for PD and networking.
    Kylie Orr
ST. MICHAEL'S COLLEGE EARLY LEARNING CENTRE
  • The value of a peak representative body for our sector to work with government and lobby for the rights of families, children and operators cannot be underrated. The ACA membership includes Employer Services access, which is worth the membership fees in their own right! No independent childcare operator can afford not to be a part of ACA.
    Judy Hawkins
    GRANDMA'S PLACE
  • It's comforting to know that there is a team who are always ready to research and have answers to the crazy life of the early childhood sector. At times when it is hard to get a firm grasp on changes and new requirements, I can always be reassured by the fact that there is somebody else getting the right interpretations and passing them on! ACA Qld is one of my top sources of staying on top of information.
    Trisha Dean
    ESKAY KIDS KARANA
  • ACA assists with providing updated information and sorting through all the important information provided by multiple sources. ACA elevates pressure, provides the direct info we need and provides support on critical industry requirements.
    Fiona Alston
    FOUNDATION EARLY LEARNING
  • I love that ACA keeps us updated with all changes in policy and they are a great support to centres both in good times and when things are a little difficult.
