Jason Gibson: Bringing out the best: Early learning behavioural strategies that work.

Even with our best efforts to help all children succeed in the early learning setting, there are times when behaviours may interrupt the opportunity for everyone to reach their full potential. In this engaging workshop, Jason Gibson will share practical strategies that can be immediately implemented. Operating from a strengths-based perspective, these evidence-based assessment and intervention practices have the potential to maximise child engagement and minimise disruptions.

In this 2 hour workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify a minimum of 4 reasons for challenging behaviour in the early learning setting.
  • Implement a minimum of 4 behavioural intervention strategies that increase children's success and reduce disruption.
  • Implement 2 parent collaboration strategies to support behavioural success in the early learning setting.
