Have you seen or heard the new child care package advertising campaign? The key message of this campaign is to inform families about what they need to do to transition to the new Child Care Subsidy from 2 July 2018. You can view the commercial at www.education.gov.au/childcare.

The Department of Human Services will be writing to all families currently accessing CCB and/or CCR advising them to complete the transition workflow. The workflow is already available and families can log on to their Centrelink online account via mygov and complete it now. Completion of the workflow should take less than 10 minutes.

Webcast information sessions will be held for families on:

  • Thursday, 19 April 2018 (7.00 pm – 8.30 pm AEST)
  • Thursday, 3 May 2018 (2.30 pm – 4.00 pm AEST)
  • Tuesday, 15 May 2018 (8.00 pm – 9.30 pm AEST)

Registration for the webcasts is via www.education.gov.au/childcare. We urge you to promote the webcasts with your families.

You should receive a letter from the department in the coming days about the online transition for service providers.
