Workshop: CCS Flexible Affordable Modelling Tool

Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) commissioned PwC to develop the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) Flexible Affordable Modelling Tool. This tool is designed to assist members to make more informed decisions on pricing structures, including potentially varied session, to ensure your services remain viable and sustainable. This tool will hopefully assist in providing flexibility to the needs of families in your communities.

Sign in to our website and look for the "FAMT (modelling tool)" menu item in the Members tab. Once you access the tool, we encourage you to test it. We will be co-facilitating a workshop with PwC to further assist you to gain a comprehensive understanding of how to use the tool and to ask any questions you may have.

The information session will be facilitated by our GM Brent Stokes along with Tamara Brown and Jon Goddard from PwC.

Cost (incl GST)
Members: $25.00
Other: $765.00

For our regional members and other members who will be unable to attend in person, you will be able to watch a live webcast. Click here to register for the live webcast.

If you are not a member of ACA Qld, please give us a call on 07 3808 2366 to access the Flexible Affordable Modelling Tool and to register for the information session.

The workshop will cover:

  • A high-level overview of CCS and proposed changes
  • Deep dive into key CCS criteria which may impact demand for services and why (to get people thinking outside the square)
  • Why current pricing strategy under CCB and CCR may not be appropriate under CCS (leading into out of pocket expenses for families)
  • Detailed walk-through of the FAMT and run through a live example and case study - this will include a comparison example families (consideration of out of pocket expense under both CCB and CCR and CCS)
  • Questions and answers
