Gold Coast Members Meeting / Annual General Meeting


Tuesday, 16 February 2021, from 7:00am for a 7:15am start

at the Sharks Event Centre, Musgrave Ave & Oslen Ave, Southport Qld 4215.

Members Meeting

This meeting will cover the following:

  • Guest speaker Paul Mondo
  • Workforce shortages: what ACA Qld is doing – and what you can do – to tackle these
  • National policy agenda
  • Revised QKFS requirements
  • News from the Department of Education (ECEC)

A detailed agenda will be released shortly.

Plated breakfast will be provided.

Annual General Meeting

 The Annual General Meeting will include:

  • Management Committee Reports
  • Auditors Report
  • Election of Members to Management Committee

Committee Members standing down and re-nominating are:

  • Nicole Fowler, North Lakes Kids Early Learning Centre
  • Brent Stokes, Beach Kids Early Learning & Preschool

Notice is given that the Annual General Meeting of Members of Australian Childcare Alliance Queensland Inc will be held at the place, date and time specified above. 

ACA Qld is an inclusive association; we respectfully encourage any passionate Approved Provider or their Nominated Representative from diverse backgrounds to nominate for an available position by clicking here for the nomination form. Note that only Approved Providers or their Nominated Representative are entitled to vote.

Nomination forms MUST be returned no later than 4:30pm Monday, 1 February 2021.

COVID Safe Guidelines

If you are attending this event, please:

  • Stay at home if unwell or have a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath
  • If you become unwell during the event, please speak with one of our team or the Southport Sharks Supervisor looking after your event.
  • Maintaining social distancing requirements is the individual's responsibility
  • All guests will access the club via the main entrance & be required to electronically sign in

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All cancellations and changes to registrations need to be made in writing by email to qld@childcarealliance.org.au. All cancellations received seven (7) working days before the event will be accepted, and registration fees refunded less a 50% administration fee. Regrettably, no refunds can be given for any cancellations less than seven (7) working days prior to the event; however, substitutions may be made at any time without penalty. No-shows are charged in full.
